  [FRS] Le texte ci-après est une étude d‟une tradition familiale consignée qui relate l‟histoire de l‟alliance d‟un voanjo, une sorte de colon-éclaireur désigné par les souverains de l‟Imerina d‟Andrianampoinimerina à Ranavalona I pour aller s‟installer dans les provinces conquises, ici le Betsileo, avec les clans locaux à travers le mariage. On peut voir à travers le récit la situation de la région à la fin du 18° et au début du 19° siècle.

  [ENG] The present text is a study of a recorded family tradition that tells the story of the alliance of a voanjo, a kind of settler-colonizer sent by the sovereigns of the Imerina, from Andrianampoinimerina to Ranavalona I to settle in the conquered provinces, here the Betsileo region, with local clans through marriage. We can see through the story the situation of the region in the late 18th and early 19th century.
