  [ EN ] Though the population of the region of Ranomafana-Ifanadiana is today mainly composed of people originating from the Betsileo, Tanala traditions and ancestral values are still living and operative.
  Tanala features : family, hazomanga, tranobe, mpanjaka remain the frames of the social and political organization of this region. Any attempt of development must take this into account.
