  [ EN ] Gustave Julien, a former governor of Madagascar colony, the first general Secretary of Malagasy Academy, presented this document to the public in 1929 for the first time. This document is an arabico-malagasy manuscript wellknown as Sorabe. Our paper wants to show two facts :
  1/ the manuscript presented by Gustave Julien contain some errors of transcription and translation.
  2/ this manuscript is also an historical document because it is one of the most exceptional manuscript of sorabe giving a precise date on the arrivals of the Muslims in Madagascar (542 of Hegira = 1147-48 of Christian era).
  This manuscript is important too because it contains some information giving explanations on “Zaffe-Hibrahim” people described by E. de Flacourt in XVIIth century on the East coast of Madagascar.
