  [ EN ] In 1937 the objective of the Ampanabaka (Commoners) to free themselves from the tutelle of the Tanamanombily (nobles) is achieved. This victory is followed by the blossoming of monarchic institutions : reassembling of clans such as the Antevohitrindry, the Antemanasara, the Tsimandihy, etc., and each big clan like the Hova and the Antevato erects a monarchy inspired by the anteony model. On the aristocratic’s side as well as on the commoner’s side, developing a monarchy becomes a “fashion” to prove a certain independence. However, the succeeding events and changes in the national policies’s direction cause the monarchic organizations to evolve, if one refers to the Antemanasara one. This evolution differs from one monarchy to another. Lastly, worth noticing is that the Antemoro traditional power is existing in parallel with the official power.
