  Résumé
  L’objectif de l’étude était d’évaluer le portage d’Immunoglobulines G (IgG) sériques dirigées contre la gingipaïne K (Kgp) de Porphyromonas gingivalis chez des patients suivis à l’Hôpital Général de Douala et d’identifier les facteurs associés à ce portage.
  Une étude transversale a été réalisée dans cet hôpital du 02 janvier 2018 au 30 juin 2018. Les participants ont été recrutés dans les services de consultation externe et au laboratoire de biologie. Les informations sur l’âge, le genre, et l’état de santé général des sujets ont été tirées des dossiers médicaux. Un questionnaire prétesté a permis de recueillir des données sur les habitudes vis à vis du tabac et de l’alcool, les antécédents parodontaux, la date de la dernière visite chez le dentiste ainsi que les habitudes d’hygiène bucco-dentaire. Le dosage d’IgG anti Kgp a été réalisé par la technique de compétition à l’aide du Human P.gingivalis Ig G ELISA , Kit de référence EV0001 96T Lot 2018001 de marque Nova Lifetech Limited®, Hongkong.Le test était positif pour un taux d’IgG ≥8,75 ng/ml.
  149 patients ont constitué notre échantillon dont l’âge médian était de 50 ans. Les sujets porteurs d’IgG anti Kgp étaient au nombre de 46 (30,8%). La moitié de ces personnes souffraient de maladies chroniques non transmissibles (MNT). Le portage d’IgG anti Kgp s’est révélé n’être associé à aucune caractéristique particulière des sujets.
  Cette étude met en exergue le portage sérique d’IgG anti Gingipaïne K de Pg au sein de notre population, et particulièrement parmi les patients souffrant de MNT.

  Abstract
  The objective of the study was to evaluate the carriage of serum immunoglobulins G (IgG) directed against gingipain K (Kgp) of Porphyromonas gingivalis in patients followed at the Douala General Hospital and to identify the associated factors to this portage.
  A cross-sectional study was carried out in this hospital from January 2, 2018 to June 30, 2018. Participants were recruited from the outpatient departments and the biology laboratory. Informations on subjects’ age, gender, and general health was obtained from medical files. A pre-tested questionnaire was used to collect data on smoking and alcohol habits, periodontal history, date of last dentist visit, and oral hygiene habits. The assay of anti Kgp IgG was carried out by the competition technique using the Human P. gingivalis Ig G ELISA, Reference kit EV0001 96T Lot 2018001 from Nova Lifetech Limited® brand, Hongkong. The test was positive for rate IgG ≥ 8.75 ng / ml.
  149 patients made up our sample whose median age was 50 years. There were 46 subjects (30.8%) with anti Kgp IgG. Half of these people suffered from chronic noncommunicable diseases (NCDs). The carriage of IgG anti Kgp was not found to be associated with any particular characteristic of the subjects.
  This study highlights the serum carry of IgG anti gingipaïne K of Pg in our population, and particularly among patients suffering from NCDs.
