  [ EN ] In the history for human religious througth, the approach to the concept of God is a product of the cultures and of the different spiritual philosophical concerns of societies. Therefore, the history of the idea of God is the history of men’s conception of him. The perception of God within a given society is far from being one and only. Is there one concept of God approved unanimously by all the Malagasy ? The author shows that traditional through in Madagascar comprehends multiple approaches to God and he comes to several conclusions. The idea of a “Creator”, that of a “Pro-creator”, the pantheistic view, the one which places God above social hierarchy, beyond history, are all included in that notion.
