[EN] The Angavokely forest station is 36 km east from Tananarive. It\’s one of the first and largest forest station of Madagascar which was implemented by the act 1913 and is now under the liability of the Ministry of Water and Forest. The station has an uneven relief with non fertile soils but favorable to forests which make up the dominating vegetation of the station with natural and exotic forests. It has several assets compared to the other existing stations in Madagascar. However, the station faces different sorts of problem and does not even contribute to the development of the area and is still not well known. Using the new way of management and realizing the certain number of rebuilding and construction works, the station will be able to sum up many objectives such as scientific, economical, touristic and cultural, seminar and training. This will bring positive effects not only for the station also for the local population and the Nandihizana Carion\’s Commune.
