  [ EN ] The tie between Antakarana people and Tromba can be indeed called « a lived faith ». They know like the back of their hands all about them as the tromba do all about the secrets of their lives. If we comment upon, it is believed that tromba governs their lives. They do good things and they severely punished the possessed too if they are not respected. But we can’t deny either that the different taboos the tromba lay down on the people they possess are obstacles to the broadening of their mind and economic development. They are enemies of development and rivals of some great faiths as well.
