  [ EN ] For nearly five years now, the “Centre des Archives de l’Eglise Luthérienne Malgache” which is located in the district of Isoraka where the station of Lutheran Missions is established, has become a working and a meeting place for many researchers. Indeed, it houses documents of great interest related to the social and cultural history of Madagascar at the beginning of the XXth century. These documents are mostly composed of manuscripts in Malagasy, Norwegian, English and French and are divided into three categories : the reports of the missionaries’activities, the minutes of their meetings and the parish archives. The existence of a certain number of equipment which is available to all research workers or to those who would like to consult the archives should also be mentioned. They include well presented accessible catalogues, a library, duplicators. And last, it should be remembered that the study of the archives of the Missions is a source of information not only on Malagasy history but also on the history of religion.

Hita ao an-toerana koa ireo fitaovam-piasana isan-karazany izay manampy betsaka ny mpikaroka na izay olona hafa tonga hiasa amin’ny arsiva, ohatra ny katalogy vita tsara sy mora ampiasaina, ny efitrano fitahirizam-boky ary ny fitaovam-pandikana. Soritana ihany koa fa tsy ny fahafantarana ny tantaran’ny fiangonana sy ny asany rehetra fotsiny no andinihina ny arsivan’ny misionera, fa hita ao koa ny mikasika ny tantaram-pirenena malagasy.
