  [ EN ] Although the sites defended by surrounding ditches have become considerably bare nowadays, traditions have it that originally, they were wooded. Other evidences of this are provided by the plant names, the remaining forests, the fauna and flora. Man has changed the vegetable environment there and developed deforestation through the practice of cultivation on burnt soil, cattle breeding and the use of wood as fuel or in arts and crafts.
