  [FRS] Carnivore est un animal qui gère l’équilibre d’un écosystème en tant que super-prédateur. Souciant d’un déséquilibre de facteur écologique dans la zone de conservation du site minier d’Ambatovy, un inventaire de Carnivores en se focalisant sur l’espèce Cryptoprocta ferox était effectué pendant 40 jours, saison hivernale, en 2019. Un piégeage, des observations directes et indirectes, et une collecte des fèces de Cryptoprocta ferox ont été effectués. Après une observation rapide, il y a une recrudescence de prédation des lémuriens dans ces zones et qui pourrait affecter l’effort de conservation entamé par le projet Ambatovy. L’objectif de cette recherche consiste à évaluer l’abondance et la distribution de la population de Carnivores et suggérer des recommandations sur la gestion de la conservation des Carnivores, en particulier Cryptoprocta ferox. La méthode utilisée est la technique de piégeage de type « cerf-volant ». L’abondance relative de Carnivore dans le complexe forestier Analamay-Ambatovy varie de rare à fréquente et n’affecte pas la survie des lémuriens. La densité absolue de Cryptoprocta ferox n’est pas encore disponible. Quoiqu’il en soit pour C. ferox, la densité de un an d’étude s’aligne avec le standard des forêts protégées à Madagascar (0,12 ind/km2 vs 0,15-0,17 ind/km2) et indique aussi qu’elle n’est pas encore craignante à une forte prédation. Dans l’état actuel, les changements de répartition et de comportement des animaux ont relativement peu d’impact sur la viabilité du milieu et de la biodiversité, mais avec le temps, il pourrait certainement perturber l’équilibre du milieu dans la zone de conservation Analamay-Ambatovy si aucune mesure n’est prise.

  [ENG] Carnivore is an animal who manages the balance of an ecosystem as super-predator. Worrying about an ecological factor unbalance in the zone of conservation of the mining site of Ambatovy, a survey centered on the inventory of Carnivores as focusing on Cryptoprocta ferox species was done during 40 days, winter season, in 2019. A trapping, direct and indirect observations, and a collection of stools of Cryptoprocta ferox have been done. After a fast observation, there is an upsurge of predation of the lemurs in these zones and that could affect the effort of conservation started by Ambatovy project. The objective of this research consists to value the abundance and the distribution of the population of Carnivores, and to suggest some recommendations on the management of the conservation of the Carnivores, in particular Cryptoprocta ferox. The used method is the technical of trapping like "kite trapping". The relative abundance of Carnivore varies from few to frequent and don’t affect the survival of the lemurs. The absolute density of Cryptoprocta ferox is not even exhaustive. However that may be for C. ferox, this density of one year aligns with the standard of the forests protected in Madagascar (0,12 ind/km2 vs 0,15-0,17 ind/km2) and indicates that it is not as fearing to a strong predation. In the present state, the changes of distribution and behavior of the animals have little impact relatively on the viability of the middle and biodiversity, but with time, it could certainly disrupt the balance of the habitat in the zone of conservation in Analamay-Ambatovy if no measure is taken.
