  [ EN ] In this writing, the writer talked about the unhappy end of Ravoninahitriniarivo, nephew of Prime Minister Rainilaiarivony, and Minister of Foreign Office. Before exiled in Ambositra in 1887, Ravoninahitriniarivo had been a brilliant rich respected and feared politician. At the age of 46, he was accused of making use of false seal by his uncle. He was condemned to imprisonment in Ambositra for 20 years. Only his wife and four slaves could accompany him. He lived in complete poverty. He was not allowed to see anyone and Governor Rarivo and Rainisoavahia were quite strict on this point.
  His miserable life in prison ended in November 1894.
