  [FR] Sentiment puissant, pouvant constituer le ferment de la vie républicaine, le Fihavanana relie les hommes les uns aux autres. Cependant, il garde aussi une connotation de particularisme, en ce sens qu’il concerne d’abord ceux qui sont Mpihavana. Voilà pourquoi il faudrait, assurément, fonder la vie citoyenne sur des valeurs, que chaque homme intimement avec tout autre homme : le respect du droit, de la justice et de la dignité de la personne humaine.

  [EN] Being a powerful feeling which can boost the Republican life, the Fihavanana forges a bond between human beings. However, it has a connotation of specificity, in the sense that above all, it concerns those who are Mpihavana. No doubt therefore that we should base our life as citizens on values that each man intimately shares with any other man : respect of the right, the law and of human beings’dignity.
