[ EN ] In the second half on the 19th century, the daughter of Ramanetaka, having become the Queen of Moheli attracted people’s attention. In a moslem island, a Queen of Malagasy extraction roused inetrest among the leading people throughout the Indian ocean. The most astonishing fact was that a catholic missionary, Father Finaz, could have based on his friendly terms with the Queen of Moheli the hope of being able to envagelize those areas. From the manuscripts texts he has left, attempts are now made to discover the grounds upon which he was driven to conceive such an utopia.

[ MLA ] Teo anelanelan’ny tapany tapany faharoan’ny taonjato faha-19, tonga mpanjakavavin’i Mohely ny zanakavavin-dRamanetaka, ary nisarika ny fijerin’ny maro. Nahaliana ireo mpitondra manam-pahefana tamin’ny fotoan’androny nanerana ny oseana Indiana ity Mpanjakavavy malagasy fiaviana ity, na dia nanaraka ny fivavahan’i Mohamed azan y nosy nanjakany. Ny tena mahagaga anefa, dia nanantena ity Misionera katolika iray, dia i Mompera Finaz, ny hahafahany hitory ny evanjely tamin’ireo faritra ireo noho ny fifankahazoany tamin’ny mpanjakavavy. Ireo sora-tanana navelany no nahatonga ny fikarohana ny antony nanosika izay hihevitra izany fikasana tsy marim-pototra velively izany.
