  [ EN ] In this study of the history of Darafify, the author opposes the idea that Darafify was the symbol of the first Muslims who came to the South-East of Madagascar ; she places the story against the social background of the Antambahoaka people as it can be seen nowadays. Thus for the span of time from the 7th Century onwards, the chronological sequence is established as follows : Darafify, Ravoaimena Andriamanavanana and Zafi(n-d)Raminia.
