  [FRS] L’état des lieux sur la religion traditionnelle malgache à partir de l’analyse anthropologique montre que les Malgachescroient à l’immortalité de l’homme ; il y a chez eux la continuité de la vie après la mort, le culte de possession, del’esprit tromba est une forme de manifestation de la croyance et de l’imaginaire des Malgaches qui consiste àconsidérer que la personne humaine est un ensemble de l’esprit et du corps. Cela veut dire que l’objectif de cettecommunication est de montrer la croyance de double aspect de l’être humain chez les Malgaches. Pour eux, pourquoiexiste-il un rapport entre le corps et l’esprit. En ce sens, les Malgaches considèrent –ils que le corps dans tout sonétat est incarné par l’esprit et il est son habitacle ? Nous procédons la méthode d’approche basée sur l’anthropologiede l’imaginaire pour apporter les éléments de réponses sur ces questions car cette croyance sur l’unicité de corps etde l’esprit est une forme de la représentation collective pour les Malgaches qui pratiquent le culte des ancêtres, enparticulier le culte de possession ou tromba à Madagascar. Selon leur culture, le corps est le patrimoine matériel del’esprit en tant que son habitacle. L’incarnation de l’esprit au corps humain vivant est la source du pouvoir sociosacral,économique et politique des médiums de l’esprit tromba chez les Tsimihety à Madagascar. Donc, il faut biensoigner le corps, soit le corps vivant, soit le corps mort afin que l’esprit puisse s’y incarner. Tels seront les résultatsentendus dans cette recherche.

  [ENG] The review on Malagasy traditional religion from anthropological analysis shows that the Malagasy people believe inthe immortality of man ; it occurs to them that there is the continuity of life after death, the cult of possession, of thetromba spirit is a form of manifestation of the beliefs and the imagination of Malagasy people, which consists inconsidering that the living person is a whole of spirit and body. This means that the objective of this communication isto show the belief of double aspect of the human being among the Malagasy people. For them, why is there aconnection between body and spirit. In this sense, do Malagasy people consider that the human body is embodied bythe spirit and becomes its interior ? Our method of approach is based on the anthropology of the imaginary to provideanswers on the aforementioned questions because this belief on the uniqueness of body and spirit is a form ofcollective representation for the Malagasy people who practice ancestor worship, in particular cult of possession ortromba in Madagascar. According to their culture, the body is the material patrimony of the spirit as its interior. Theembodiment of the spirit in the living human body is the source of the socio-sacral, economic and political power of thetromba spirit mediums among the Tsimihety in Madagascar. So, the body has to be taken good care, either the livingbody or the dead body so that the spirit can incarnate there. These will be the expected results in this research work.
