  [FRS] L’objectif de cette étude a été d’évaluer l’effet de fruits de Solanum torvum (Solanaceae) sur l’hydratation cutanée chez la souris. Les fruits ont été pressés et le jus obtenu a été incorporé à la concentration de 10%, dans une crème. Puis celle-ci a été appliquée une fois par jour sur la peau dorsale rasée des animaux. La variation du taux d’hydratation, celle de la capacitance ainsi que l’épaisseur cutanée ont été évaluées. Nos résultats montrent que la crème augmente l’hydratation cutanée des animaux, confirmée par l’augmentation de la capacitance et celle de l’épaisseur de la peau. Avant la première application de la crème, le taux d’hydratation cutanée des animaux est égal à 18,60 ± 0,21%. Il est égal à 35,17 ± 0,88% après 18 jours d’application de la crème contenant l’extrait, contre 21,13 ± 0,09% pour les témoins traités avec la crème de base (P < 0,05). Avant la première application, la capacitance cutanée est égale à 5,50 ± 0,17 pF. Après 18 jours de traitement avec la crème contenant le jus de S. torvum, elle est égale à 23,47 ± 0,32 pF, contre 14,46 ± 1,66 pF chez les témoins (P < 0,05). Enfin, au premier jour, l’épaisseur initiale de la peau des souris, est égale à 1,6 ± 0,07 mm. Après 18 jours de traitement, elle augmente à 2,5 ± 0,09 mm chez les animaux traités avec l’extrait, contre 1,8 ± 0,06 mm chez les témoins (P< 0,05). Le coefficient de corrélation entre le taux d’hydratation et la capacitance est égale à 0,99. Il est égal à 0,92 entre le taux d’hydratation et l’épaisseur cutanés. Nous en concluons que le jus de fruits de Solanum torvum, incorporé dans la crème possède une activité hydratante. Il pourrait agir comme humectant, ou favorise la synthèse des collagènes.

  [ENG] This work aimed to evaluate the mosturizing capacity of Solanum torvum (Solanaceae) fruits in mice. The fruits were squeezed to obtain the juice which was then prepared into a cream containing 10% of the fruit juice This work aimed to evaluate the This cream was applied once a day on the dorsal side of the animals. The variation in the hydration rate, the capacitance as well as the skin thickness were evaluated. The results obtained show that the cream increases skin hydration of the animals, which is confirmed by the increase in capacitance and the skin thickness. Skin hydration rate before the first application of the cream is 18.60 ± 0.21%. This increases to 35.17 ± 0.88% on the 18th day of applying the cream containing 10% of the extract versus 21.13 ± 0.09% for the control animals treated with the base cream (P < 0.05). The capacitance is 5.50 ± 0.17 pF prior to the first application of the cream and this increases to 23.47 ± 0.32 pF in the treated animals versus 14.46 ± 1.66 pF observed in the control group on the 18th day (P < 0.05). Skin thickness of the mice on the first day is 1.6 ± 0.07 mm and this increases to 2.5 ± 0.09 in the animals treated with the cream containing 10% of the extract versus 1.8 ± 0.06 mm observed in the control group (P<0.05). The correlation coefficient (r) between hydration rate and capacitance is 0.99 ; and it is 0.92 between hydration rate and skin thickness. These results show that Solanum torvum possess moisturizing activity. This could be a humectant or favors collagen synthesis.capacity of Solanum torvum (Solanaceae) fruits in mice.
